Yuniar Porto Jimenez, APRN

Board-Certified Family Nurse Practitioner

Yuniar Porto Jimenez, APRN, FNP-C, is a Florida-licensed, board-certified Family Nurse Practitioner with a clinical focus on functional, integrative, and preventive medicine. She is bilingual in English and Spanish and provides comprehensive, patient-centered care across diverse populations.

She brings over a decade of experience in medicine and nursing, including more than six years of advanced practice as a Nurse Practitioner. Her clinical background encompasses primary care, women's health, metabolic and weight management, bioidentical hormone replacement therapy, wound care, aesthetic medicine, and telehealth services. She has extensive experience managing chronic disease, implementing preventive care strategies, and integrating lifestyle-based and functional medicine approaches into clinical practice.

Ms. Porto Jimenez earned her Master of Science in Nursing as a Family Nurse Practitioner from Ana G. Mendez University and holds a Bachelor of Science in Nursing from Sacred Heart University. She also completed her medical training as a Family Physician (MD) at the University of Medical Sciences in Cuba. She is currently completing a Post-Master's Certificate as a Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner (PMHNP), with the goal of integrating behavioral health into holistic and integrative care models.

She is a founding member of the Ibero-American Community of Functional Medicine and remains committed to ongoing professional development in functional, metabolic, hormonal, and anti-aging medicine.

Clinical focus

Yuniar Porto Jimenez brings an uncommon clinical depth to AgeRejuvenation's patient population. Her formal medical training as a Family Physician in Cuba, combined with advanced practice nurse practitioner credentials earned in the United States, gives her a bicultural, bilingual vantage point that benefits patients who have struggled to find providers who truly understand their background and goals. Her current PMHNP training reflects a commitment to whole-person care that looks at mood, cognition, and stress alongside hormones and metabolic health.

Spanish-speaking patients in Tampa Bay and the Orlando area often find that language is the barrier between them and truly personalized functional medicine. Yuniar closes that gap. Her clinical philosophy aligns with the evidence-based standards published by the American Academy of Family Physicians on integrative approaches within primary care.
